I have written on this support group for a long time in my support of Vick. I am just having such a hard time understanding why this man is still being crucified over something that has gone on for so many years and continues to go on today. I keep wondering when will this stop. With that being said I am confused as to why Vick agreed to this documentary, I just feel like it will only add fuel to the fire and make this matter go on even longer. At some point this needs to end, by doing that documentary will just prolong all the hate and drams. However, my support for Vick will not change at all I will continue to root for him and wish him the best. I just hate to see and hear all of the mean and cruel things that are being said about him. I read some of the news coverage and it is more than obvious these reporters are writing these articles only to sell papers or be recognized as a reporter.
I guess my hope is that this will come to an end and soon. I continue to pray for Vick and his family. And I do respect his attempt to make it right, unfortunately with some people it no matter what he says or does it will never be right. |

The criminal justice's treatment of Michael Vick's is both embarassing and ridiculous. Our system is so full of inequity. African American males are shot on a daily basis by rogue law enforcement officials. They are allowed to keep their guns and their careers seemingly flourish (maybe they are even awarded for their conduct?) Roman Polanski rapes a 13 year old child and he travels all over Europe, living a rich lavish lifestyle, living a life of privilege, flourishing in his profession. His arrest for FLEEING prosecution is heralded widely as unfair? How insane is this? I say that Michael did something wrong and deserved a slap on the wrist. It was just dogs and while I am an animal lover, I still appreciate the fact that animals are hunted for sport by rich, untouchable people of privilege all over the world with little or no restriction and certainly no criminal sanctions. Let this man live. Let him work. Let him prosper. He has been unjustly punished. |
